I have been practicing judo for over 26 years. I have represented my club ,in competition, in the UK, Europe, and North America.

In addition; I am a keen student of Close Quarter Combat techniques, as developed by W.E. Fairburn and others.

My training started with my Uncle, Peter Robins, 10 years ago. Peter is considered to be one of the foremost authorities on CQB outside the United States. It was through him that I continued my training with John Kary.

I have been training with John for five years.

I represent American Combatives In the UK and Europe. I run a weekly class, for women, at my judo club, a monthly seminar for a small group of enthusiasts, and regular seminars for local business people and their families.

Recently,American Combatives was invited to Holland to run a seminar for a group of instructors in the Dutch Army’s Commando Regiment. An article, about the seminar appeared in the their official journal; “the Green Beret.”
