American
Combatives, Inc. is the premier training
academy for Close-Quarters Combat (CQC) Defense Training. Based on the
Elite
Allied Forces WWII Hand-To-Hand Combat techniques, the ACI Personal
Defense Form
is easy to learn, simple to execute, quickly retained and proven to be
effective
on the streets, as well as on the battlefield.
Pre-arranged
counter attack
systems are limited in usefulness because attacks can occur in a
variety of
ways. The ACI System is the ONLY system which prepares you for the
unexpected --
the most pro-active survival training ever developed! ACI will teach
you to have
a heightened awareness of your environment --
far beyond the usual visual evaluations. Using responses based on body
mechanics, your CQC training shows you how flexible response heightens
your
chances of survival, and can help minimize physical damage -- even if
you have
never had significant training before.
For
the
experienced martial
artist, this
training will blend with the other forms of training you have had and
give you a
solid network of response. Practice defense scenarios are
executed
realistically -- you'll learn the basic techniques, and the keys to
using them
in comprehensive application. Techniques are practiced and become part
of an
instinctive reaction. This foundation training, coupled with confidence
and
personal ingenuity, will give an individual a fighting chance against
any
violent attack. This method was essential to survival for soldiers
during WWII.
The
ACI Training Curriculum has four
training modules:
Module
1: Fundamentals -- a thorough study
of the techniques that form this simple but highly effective curriculum
of
close-quarters combat. Topics covered are movement, blocking, natural
weapons,
primary targets and attack sequences.
Module
2: Counter to Unarmed Assault --
application of ACI principles to various unarmed assault situations.
Topics
covered are secondary weapons and targets;
arm, clothing, and hair grabs; body seizures; locks, chokes, and ground
defense.
Module
3: Counter to Weapons Assault --
instruction of effective response to weapon wielding assailants. A
reinforcement
of the previous two modules and 'realistic as
possible' reenactment of the realities of weapon assault. Topics
covered are assaults by assailants wielding impact weapons: knives,
handguns
and long guns.
Module
4: Special Combatives -- a step
into the field of specialized offensive techniques. Principles and
techniques of
previous modules are reinforced,
while
integrating specialized response techniques. Topics covered
are
principles of fighting multiple assailants; vital area assaults; basic
stick
combat; and combative knife technique, covering the draw, grip, stance,
movement
and snap techniques.
American Combatives CQC
training is a one-on-one
program. A 3-day intensive workshop can help to change the odds in
favor of the
individual. 2, 3, and 4-day programs can be customized for a specific
need or
training desire, such as knife technique or weapons assault. Government
agencies, law enforcement, military and security personnel gain greater
effectiveness and personal security from ACI
training. Call us today on how to schedule your personal training
seminar.
